The Hyundai i30 has been named as the UK’s most reliable car in the Auto Express Driver Power Top 10 listings, which may please motor insurance customers.
It is the first time a Korean car manufacturer has won in nine years of the survey and the Hyundai i30 came out one place in front of the Jaguar XF.
The Skoda Octavia was in third with Volkswagen?s Golf MkVI in fourth.
More than 23,000 drivers take part in the Driver Power poll on car reliability and satisfaction.
Auto Express editor-in-chief David Johns commented: “Congratulations to Hyundai. This is a huge breakthrough for the brand.
“This is the final proof that Hyundais can now match that with real all-round reliability and satisfaction.”
Hyundai recently revealed that it had its best ever month of sales in the UK, selling 15,241 cars in March, beating the previous monthly record of 11,031 set in September 2009.
