According to the article “Auto Insurance Study Released” on bestsyndication.com, courtesy of  rapidautoinsurance.org, JD Power and Associates recently released their 2009 Auto Insurance Satisfaction Study.  The good news for auto insurance companies and consumers is that customer satisfaction is up.

JD Power and Associates believes the increase in customer satisfaction is due to the lower auto insurance rates for 2009.  This year’s study results are a 5 year high for the industry and surprisingly customer satisfaction was declining at the beginning of the recession.

As rates begin to raise and auto insurance companies give higher quotes it is very possible and likely that customer satisfaction will begin to decline.  But there are other reasons the 2009 study had such good results.  Many auto insurance companies have started to consider some customer requests such as reliable phone numbers and websites.  Most companies continue to strive to make customer satisfaction a priority.
