How Employer Insurance Coverage Is Affected By State Health Insurance Law

State health insurance laws are passed to ensure that the health coverage provided by employers takes care of employee’s needs that insurance companies have been reluctant to cover in the past. The health insurance industry in the state may not have offered certain kinds of coverage due to unreasonable costs or for other reasons. The state steps in and passes laws called consumer protection laws that mandate the employer’s health coverage for employees cover the issue under the policy. If the health insurance company refuses to do so, the state can bar them from selling policies in that state.

Cheap Auto Insurance in Texas

The TDI or the Texas Department of Insurance has recently released its reports to the legislature stating that it has seen increased level of competition within the personal auto insurance market, a fall in the number of enrollment in the risk pool run by the state and relative cost stability. In the month of January, 2011, the state auto insurance authority reacted to the drop in the cost of insuring vehicles in Texas and they’ve reported that the auto insurance rates in Texas decreased by 7.8% in the last quarter of 2010. Women are better drivers than men – Fact!

We all have an opinion on the long-standing myth that men are better drivers than women, so you will be pleased to hear that conclusive evidence has at last emerged to prove what we knew all along – women actually are the superior motorists.

An American insurance quote provider has released the new study ‘Women are bad drivers – fact or fiction?’ which compares traffic accident, violation and insurance price statistics between men and women to dispel the notion that women are bad drivers.

Michigan Auto Law in Michigan Lawyers Weekly highest car accident verdicts and truck accident verdicts for 2011

Our Michigan personal injury lawyers have made it on the Michigan Lawyers Weekly year-end list of the top-reported verdicts and settlements. Last year, Michigan Auto Law received the second top-reported verdict for a car accident case and top reported verdict for a truck accident case in Michigan in 2011.

One of the most contentious issues in American politics has always been health reform. For decades, HMOs, PPOs and self-directed plans have been the norm in the American health care landscape, and health insurance quotes have always been predicated on the assumption that a private plan was the only option available to consumers. While each type of private or employer-sponsored health insurance plan allowed a different way to interact with health professionals and provided either greater control over funds or a hands-off approach, health insurance companies across the country operated in a relatively similar manner.
